Save the Children, UNICEF and CS-SUN advocate for Nutrition Resourcing in Nigeria

 A town hall meeting of civil society groups was held on the 19th of February 2016 to address Nutrition resourcing and draw government’s attention to the problem of Malnutrition in Nigeria.

The event was held at the Bolton White Hotels Abuja and began with a press briefing with the Media in attendance.

The Government and Nigerian media partner towards better Nutrition Advocacy

The Working to Improve Nutrition In Northern Nigeria (WINNN) programme organized a capacity building workshop cum field visit for News Producers and Editors from the 7th – 9th September 2015 in Zamfara State and 10th – 11th September, 2015 in Katsina State. Zamfara and Katsina states are two of the five states being supported by WINNN.

Muslim Leaders Advocacy Group For Maternal Child Health In Nigeria

In Nigeria, One in five children die before their fifth birthday. Over 40% of children miss out on school and work to earn a living. Health facilities are in bad shape and in need of repair, lacking basic equipments and drugs. In some districts in Northern Nigeria, less than 1% of children are fully immunised even though most child deaths are vaccine preventable.
