WASH policy gets approved by the Lagos state government

The National Water, Sanitation and Hygiene policy was approved in year 2000 and it envisioned institutional and policy reforms at state levels. The broad objectives of the national WASH policy was to improve access to adequate, affordable and sustainable water supply through the active participation of the Federal, State and local government, NGOs, Development partners, private sector, communities, households and individuals for improved health outcomes for urban and rural dwellers.

JIGAWA STATE APPROVES N280 MILLION FOR NUTRITION, TO COLLABORATE WITH SCI IN IMPLEMENTING SOCIAL SAFETY NETS FOR THE POOR

The Jigawa state government has approved funds totalling N280 Million towards tackling malnutrition in the state.

The Executive Governor of Jigawa State, His Excellency, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar represented by his deputy, Barrister Ibrahim Hassan received the team from Save the Children, led by the Country Director, Ben Foot at the Deputy Governor’s Office, Dutse, Jigawa State.
